We understand that some legal tech teams like to deliver their own training sessions, so we’ve put together a list of the key points we cover in our training to help you structure your own.

When we present training, we start with the context and use cases of Legatics, then dive into the user journey of the platform, at each point describing the benefits to the user.

  • We’ve set out these topics in the table checklist file below, with key points to cover, the benefits of using Legatics at each step, and links to useful content from our Knowledge Base to help you deliver training and tick them off as you go along.

  • This training checklist has been designed with our key Legatics practice areas of Corporate, Banking and Finance and Real Estate in mind, but can be adapted for other teams. We estimate covering all the topics may require 45 minutes of time, but this may vary depending on how in-depth the training session needs to be.

  • If you are going to be providing training on Legatics, we recommend that you have an understanding of the Admin App functionality in the platform, and consider your own processes around the use of Legatics (for example, if you want a policy to remove matters from the platform after a certain time period) and how you might include these in your training checklist.
