βš‘πŸ“„ How to upload files from Legatics to NetDocuments

  1. Open up the matter you are working with.

  2. Next to the file you want to upload to NetDocuments, click the "three dots" choose "Save as new document" then select "NetDocuments." If you have multiple NetDocuments instances, select the one you prefer.

  3. Choose your preferred location to save the file on the right side of the page, then click "Continue.". (You can navigate through cabinets, your favourite or recent workspaces to find your preferred location.)

  4. When you select the save location, you will be asked to add any document profile information. These fields (required) such as the Document name, Client, Matter etc, will be marked with an asterisk. After completing them, click "Save as a new document here."

    (Please note, that these fields are configured by your NetDocuments admin so they might be different to the example below.)

  5. The following message will confirm your file upload from Legatics to NetDocuments.

  1. Next to the file version you want to upload to NetDocuments, click the "three dots" choose "Save version to" then select "NetDocuments." If you have multiple NetDocuments instances, select the one you prefer.

  2. Legatics will automatically save this version to your NetDocuments integration in the same location as the previous versions of the file.

  3. Once the upload is complete, you will receive the message below confirming its success.
