What does the "Word/PDF download" feature do?
This feature lets you download any list as a branded Word document.
⚠️ Important: Downloading a list as a Word/PDF/Excel document will include all the content that is visible to you in the list. If you share the download with others, they will be able to see everything included in your download (even if there are restrictions in Legatics).
How to use the Word/PDF download feature
1. Click on the "Export list" button in the blue navigation bar of your list.
2. Select which rows should be included in your download.
All rows | Downloads every row in your list. |
Filtered rows | Only downloads the rows that are visible with the filtering you have applied. |
Selected rows | Only downloads the rows you have selected
✋ Tip: To select multiple rows; select the first row, press shift and then select the last row that you need and all of the rows in-between will automatically become selected. |
3. Specify the following before you export your list.
The columns you would like to include in your download.
The format of your export (you can select from Word, Excel and PDF)
Choose the location.
⚠️ File columns cannot be included in Word/PDF/Excel downloads.
4. Click "Export" to download your list.
