How to aggregate your documents into one list

Binders in Legatics streamline the ability for you to turn a list with lots of files and tasks into a stand-alone list with just the files from the list, making it easy for you to share them with participants.

Good to know: It's on our roadmap to improve binders in 2025.


Turning lists into binders

  1. Find the list you want to turn into a binder and click + Create binder at the top right corner

  2. In the pop-up that appears

    1. Enter a name for the binder

    2. Select what columns to include (be default, only the title column and any list columns are included)

    3. Decide if you want to exclude rows that don't contain files

    4. Set the list permissions (if any)

    5. Click Create Binder

A notification will appear once the binder is generated and ready for viewing.


Editing the binder

Binders work exactly the same as lists. Check out these articles to learn what you can do.

Heads-up:

  • You can't pull files from other lists into the binder

  • Signing isn't available on binders
