In some cases, you may need to remove documents you have sent from DocuSign. This can be done through Legatics, even after an envelope has been created.
⚠️ If you need to remove a document from a DocuSign envelope, do this in Legatics (not DocuSign). DocuSign's API restricts us from updating Legatics when you remove the document in DocuSign.
⚠️ If the removed document is the last in the envelope, the envelope will also be deleted.
How to remove documents from DocuSign
Open your list in the signing view and find the document that you would like to remove.
If you have multiple documents with different signing statuses, you can filter to sort your documents.
Click on 'Actions' and select 'Remove from signing view'.
Removing a document from the envelope means that the document will also be deleted from DocuSign, except if it has been voided or declined.
Click 'Remove' to confirm.
The status of the removed document will change to 'Not sent'.
You can then 'Remove from signing view' if you wish or 'Send to DocuSign' again.
