Free-text columns in Legatics are designed for storing unstructured information, such as notes, descriptions, or custom data that doesn’t fit into predefined formats like dates or statuses. This guide explains how to add, edit, and manage free-text columns, ensuring flexibility and clarity in your lists.


Editing free-text entries

  1. Locate the free-text column and click the cell you want to edit

  2. Type or paste the desired text directly into the cell

  3. Press Enter or click outside the cell to save your changes.

Note:

  • Rich text isn't supported

  • Links are recognised, but you can't paste links onto text
