Restrictions in demo matters
Demo matters are very similar to live matters. But there are some restrictions/differences, which are important to keep in mind.
Restriction | Explanation |
Can't become live matters | If you create a demo matter, you can't make it a live matter later.
Generally, we always recommend having a low-fidelity demo matter. This is great for showing clients the value of Legatics, without spending lots of time on the details. |
"Demo" must be in the name | Every demo matter needs "Demo" in the matter name. You won't be able to create a demo matter without including demo in the name |
DocuSign developer accounts only appear in demo matters | Legatics supports multiple DocuSign accounts.
But developer (or demo) DocuSign accounts only appear in demo matters. Learn about the difference between production and developer accounts here. |
