Creating a matter can be done quickly, in a few simple steps.

How to create a matter
To open a matter, first click on the Legatics logo on the top left of your screen to go to your home page. Then click the 'Create matter' button.
Select whether the matter is live or demo.
If you are opening a matter to test the platform or to present a demo to your team, for example, the matter should be marked as a 'Demo'. If external participants are being invited to the matter, the matter should be marked as 'Live'.
Fill in the information about your matter - compulsory fields are marked with an asterisk (*).
Click 'Create matter' once you've completed the form.
To see a full list of your matters, or create a new matter, click on the Legatics logo. On this page there are two tabs to separate 'Live' and 'Demo' matters.
