Learn how to efficiently create lists in your matter using pre-designed templates tailored for legal workflows

Legatics offers a comprehensive library of list templates designed to streamline your legal transactions. These templates serve as a way of understanding what Legatics can be used for, helping you get started from best practice - all while enabling you to expedite the setup process.

Prerequisites: To create lists in a matter, you must be a Matter Admin


Initiate list creation

  1. Click on Create list located either on the top navigation bar or the dashboard

  2. In the Create list pop-up, choose the Template option

Choose a template

You can start a template from two different sources.

Tip: Use the search bar and categories to find templates quickly

Your organization's templates

These templates are created by your firm’s Template Admin and are tailored to your organization’s specific workflows and practices. They often include more detailed content and structures, making them the best choice for quickly setting up lists that align with your firm’s standards.

Legatics templates

These templates are provided by Legatics to showcase the platform's capabilities and demonstrate what you can use Legatics for. While they offer a solid starting point, they typically contain less content and are more general in nature. These templates are ideal for exploring the possibilities of Legatics or for creating new workflows from scratch.


Configure list details

After selecting a template, a Create your list pop-up will appear. Here, you can:

Once configured, click Create to finalize the list creation.

Your list will be created and you'll be taken to it. You can then edit it however you want!
