Your statuses can automatically change when certain actions occur. This lets you simplify the administration of your matter!

  1. Ensure that you have added a status column and statuses to your list.

  2. Select the status button in a row and click on the arrow.

  3. Click on 'edit statuses'.

  4. Scroll to the bottom of the list and select 'set automatic actions'.

  5. If you have used a set status workflow, automatic actions may already be applied.

  6. You can change automatic actions for set status workflows or create these from scratch if you are using a blank workflow.

Statuses can be applied automatically in four instances - when new rows are added, when files are uploaded, when approval checkboxes are all ticked and when these checkboxes become unticked or a file changes.

  7. To switch off any of these automatic actions, select or deselect using the button beside each action on the left.

  8. To apply a status to an action, click on the status button on the right and select from your set statuses.

  9. Press 'save' to make your changes live. In the case below, when a new row is added to a list, it will automatically be assigned the 'to be approved' status.
