What does this feature do?

This feature allows you to download the files (and all file versions if you choose that option) in your list into a single zip file. You can also choose to include an index in your zip download, which will list all the files in your zip in a Word document.

⚠️Important: Downloading a list as a zip file will include all the content that is visible to you in the list. Therefore, please be careful when sharing downloaded zip files as they may contain confidential information.

How this feature works

1. Click on the zip file icon which says 'Export files' in the blue navigation bar of your list.

2. Select what information you would like to include in the zip file.

All rows

Downloads all of your list.

Filtered rows

Only downloads the rows that are visible with the filtering you have applied (learn more about how to filter here).

Selected rows

Only downloads the rows you have selected (learn more about how to select rows here).

Tip: To select multiple rows; select the first row, press shift and then select the last row that you need and all of the rows in-between will automatically become selected.

Index only

Only downloads the index of the files in your list.

3. You can then choose whether you would like to 'include a Word index', listing the files in your matter in a table, in your zip file. And also which columns should be included in your download.

4. You can select 'all versions' of your file and it will include every version from your list in your download.

If you would like to 'rename files' so that they are named according to the text in the title column, select the box in the pop-up below.

5. Click 'Export' to download it.

6. Your download is complete!
