Require approval to create matters

The "Consent confirmation" setting requires users to tick a box to confirm they've got consent before they can create a matter.

By requiring users to tick a box, you can:

  • Add an extra layer of compliance, helping to reduce the risk of misunderstandings or unauthorized actions.

  • Enhance accountability by having a record that users have explicitly agreed to project terms or guidelines.


How to enable the feature


  1. Log into the admin system

  2. Click on Settings in the sidebar

  3. Locate the setting "Consent confirmation"

  4. Toggle the setting to ON


How it works for users


Once this setting is enabled, users creating a matter must tick the "Consent obtained" box below before they can create the matter.
