Bulk actions allow you to perform actions on multiple files or folders at the same time, which is especially useful in large data rooms.
Selecting files and folders
To select items for bulk actions:
Hover over a file or folder row in the main list
Click the checkbox that appears on the left of the row
Repeat this for each file or folder you want to include
As soon as one or more items are selected, the bulk action panel becomes available.
Using the bulk action panel
Once items are selected, a bulk action panel appears at the bottom of the screen.
From this panel, you can:
See how many items are currently selected
Select all items in the current view
Clear the current selection
Take action on all selected items at once
Depending on your permissions, available actions may include:
Downloading files or folders
Deleting files or folders
Actions taken from the bulk action panel apply to all selected items.
Permission considerations
Bulk actions respect permissions at the data room, folder, and file level.
If you do not have permission to perform an action on one or more selected items:
That action may be disabled, or
The action will fail and show an error
This helps prevent accidental changes to restricted content.
