Efficiently update multiple rows simultaneously

In every list, you can bulk edit multiple rows within a single column at once, streamlining your work and ensuring consistency across your data.​

Prerequisites: You've got the edit permission for the columns you're wanting to update

Note: Bulk edits aren't available for comments and files columns


Row content

Bulk editing content inside a row is super simple. Simply:

  1. Click the checkbox next to each row you want to edit

  2. Click the six-dot menu on the left of the section or row

  3. Select Edit selected

  4. In the pop-up, select the column you want to modify in the the 'Column to edit' dropdown

  5. Make your changes

  6. Click 'Update' to apply changes or 'Cancel' to discard

Your changes are bulk applied to the rows and columns you selected

Caution: There's no undo button after you make a bulk change


Row permissions

Prerequisites: You have the row permissions permission on the list

You can bulk change the view permission for rows. To do this, simply:

  1. Select the rows you want to edit

  2. Click the six-dot menu on the left of the row

  3. Select Edit permissions for {x} rows and make your changes
