An overview of Legatics' signing features, including preparation, sending, tracking and execution of documents

Updated this week

Legatics streamlines the signing process by providing each list with a dedicated view to prepare, send, track and and finalize document signings.

This signing view functions like a traditional Word signing checklist but with far greater intelligence and efficiency. Unlike static Word documents, the signing view dynamically organizes and tracks all signing activities in one place, providing real-time visibility into the status of each document, party, and signatory.

Tip: Signing is contained within each list. There's no global view to see all documents you're signing.

Efficient preparation is key to a smooth signing process. In Legatics, you can predefine which documents need to be signed and assign their respective parties and signatories. This proactive approach ensures that when it’s time to sign, everything is organized, eliminating the stress of last-minute scrambling.

Identify and designate files that require signatures, ensuring they are included in the signing view.

Define the parties and signatories signing each document.

Tip: Use this approach when you're electronically signing the entire document

For electronic signing of the entire document, Legatics integrates seamlessly with DocuSign, enabling you to send, track, and manage those documents efficiently. With DocuSign, you can handle signing processes entirely online while maintaining detailed records.

Send documents to Docusign and include data on parties and signatories.

Automatically and simply track back in Legatics the signing progress of your documents, or open them in Docusign for more actions.

Retrieve completed documents from DocuSign, ensuring all signed files, certificates of completion and envelope histories are consolidated within Legatics.

Tip: Use this approach if you're signing specific pages instead of signing the entire document electronically

If you're signing specific pages instead of the entire document electronically, Legatics offers tools to simplify and organize the signature pages being signed. You can create signature packs, track signing statuses, and collate signed pages into final execution versions.

Leverage artificial intelligence to generate PDF signature packs for parties and signatories, streamlining the preparation of physical signatures.

Manually update the signing statuses to reflect the current state of each document and signatory in the signing process.

After obtaining signed pages, upload and assign them to their corresponding documents and signatories.

Assemble all signed pages into a finalized executed document, ensuring a complete and organized record of the signed agreement.
