This feature streamlines the process of assembling signed pages into a cohesive executed document. By automating the integration of signed pages you uploaded with the latest document versions, you can eliminate manual tasks, reduce errors, and accelerate the finalization of agreements.
Prerequisites: You're the Matter Admin or have the edit signing list permission for the specific list

Select documents to collate
Note: You can only collate documents:
that are PDF files
with a status of "Ready to collate"
with one or more signed page matched to it
Find the list containing the documents you want to collate
Go to the signing view.
Select the documents you want to collate
Press Actions > Collate
Legatics will combine the matched signed pages with the latest version of each document, creating a draft executed version for review.
Edit draft executed document
When your documents are combined, you can edit each document before the final version is created. Specifically, you can:
Remove pages
Rotate pages
Move pages
Add a date signed annotation
Add a text annotation
Caution: Your edits aren't saved until you press Collate.
Remove pages
Your underlying execution version is likely to include blank signature pages. To remove those pages (or any other unwanted pages:
Press x on the page's thumbnail
Press remove when you're viewing the page
Those pages will dim and a bin icon will appear over the thumbnail
If you made a mistake, you can reinstate the page by:
Pressing the return icon on the page's thumbnail
Pressing restore when you're viewing the page
Rotate pages
Navigate to the misaligned page
Click Rotate at the top of the page to adjust its orientation.
Keep pressing until it's in the correct orientation
Reorder pages
Tip: When signed pages are added to the execution version, they are automatically positioned as follows:
After the last unsigned page detected by our AI
At the end of the document if no unsigned pages are detected
You may need to manually reposition the signed pages to ensure they are correctly placed within the document.
To move pages into the correct location:
Press and hold the page’s thumbnail.
Drag the page to its desired position.
Release to drop it into place.
Date signed annotation
Setting the date
In the right hand panel press the date signed box
Select the date from the date picker
Select the date format you want to use. You can chose from:
Rest of World: 23 June 2024
USA: June 23, 2024
Applying the date
Hover over anywhere on the page
Press anywhere on the page
Note:
You can apply multiple "date signed" annotations to a document
Only one date and format can be assigned per document
Changing the date
In the right hand panel press Change in the date signed box
Select the date from the date picker
Change the date style (if you want)
Caution: This will update the date across all "date signed" annotations applied to the document
Editing a date annotation
Once an annotation has been applied, you can edit it by pressing on the annotation and then:
Making it larger/smaller: Press on the A icons that appear
Deleting it: Press on the bin icon that appears
Moving it: Press anywhere on the annotation
Text annotation
Adding an annotation
In the right hand panel click the text box
Hover over anywhere on the page
Click anywhere on the page to place the annotation
Editing an annotation
Making it larger/smaller: Press on the A icons that appear
Deleting it: Press on the bin icon that appears
Resizing it: Press and hold the dots around the annotation
Moving it: Press and hold inside the box
Create executed versions with your changes
Once you've made all your changes, press Collate at the bottom right of the screen. A pop-up will appear informing you of what's about to happen
After you press Collate, you'll see another pop-up informing you that Legatics is collating your documents. Once that's done, you'll be taken to the signing view. And you're done. Congratulations!
