Once you have created an account, you'll need to log in to your Legatics account to start work on your matters and access projects.
➡️ Quick tip
Go to app.legatics.com or au.app.legatics.com (for Australian customer law firms) or usa.legatics.app (for US customer law firms) and select 'Log in'. Type in your email address and click 'Continue'.
Some firms have their own firm instance, and you will need to log in via a different URL - if in doubt, check your Legatics invitation email or with your firm's legal technology team/intranet for the correct URL.
See step-by-step instructions for troubleshooting, how to log in as a user at a Legatics customer firm and how to log in as a client or third-party below.
❗Important: Depending on your organization's login options and whether they have single sign-on enabled, Legatics verifies your email address to create your account and sends a verification code to log in.
Please ensure that your organization's IT team has allow-listed emails from the domain "@legatics.com" and remember to check your spam/junk folder - this ensures your Legatics emails aren't getting blocked or marked as spam.

Troubleshooting
If you cannot log in there are some things you need to check:
Note that the invitation link in your email expires after 24 hours. If you are trying to access Legatics after 24 hours, please contact the host law firm to re-invite you to the matter.
If you already have an existing Legatics account but cannot access the matter or are directed to create a new account, you will need to create a new account using the link in your invitation email. This is because there are different Legatics instances with unique URLs. To access a Legatics matter on a different Legatics instance, you will need to create a new account on that instance.
Check your spam/junk folder – sometimes the invitation email lands there.
Reach out to your IT team and ask whether the domain "@legatics.com" is allow-listed and not being blocked by an email spam filter. This could cause delays and prevent you from receiving the email.
If your firm uses Office 365, please be aware that there's been a change to its settings. We suggest forwarding this Microsoft article to your internal IT team, as the default configuration changes could prevent users from receiving the verification code.
If you don't receive the verification code, you can also try using Google Chrome when logging into your account. If this doesn't help, we also suggest trying 'incognito' mode in Chrome.
If the above steps don't resolve the issue, please email us at support@legatics.com.
