Our signing view lets you specify the "parties" that are signing each document. Once you have added parties to a document, you can specify who will be the signatories signing on behalf of each party.

⚠️ Please note: You cannot change parties once a document has been sent to DocuSign.

How to add parties to a document

1. Go to your document in signing view and click 'Add parties'. This will bring up a window where you can see all parties you have added to your matter.

2. Select 'Create party'. This will let you create a "person" or a "legal" entity as a party.

3. If you add a person you need to provide their full name. You can also choose to add their email address (you can add email addresses later if you want).

⚠️ Please note: This will not add the person as a user to your matter.

4. If you add a legal entity you only need to provide the name of the entity.

5. Once you have added your parties click on 'Save'.

How to change the parties to a document

  2. To remove a party, click on the 'x' icon.

Please note: This will also remove any signatories added to the party.
