You can choose how you get notifications, what you get notified about, and how often you get notified. This puts you in control, and helps make sure you're being informed about what matters most to you.
Where to go to control your notifications
Click on your name icon located at the top-right corner of the screen
From the dropdown menu, select My account
Scroll down to the Notifications section
Good to know: Legatics operates multiple instances, each requiring its own account. Data is not shared between instances, so you may need to make these changes in multiple places.
Matter notifications
Notification delivery
You can get notified about updates to your matters in two ways:
In-app notifications: Real-time updates directly within the platform
Email notifications: Email updates sent at specified intervals
Turning notifications on and off
Use the “Send me notifications about matter updates” toggle to turn notifications on or off. When toggled on, you’ll receive in-app and email matter notifications based on your selected preferences. When toggled off, you won’t receive any matter notifications
Selecting email type and frequency
Once matter notifications are turned on, you can choose how you'd like to receive email updates. You can choose to get:
scheduled updates; or
daily digest
To select an email type and frequency:
Under the How should we send email notifications section, choose your preferred email type
In the Frequency dropdown select how often you want emails sent (for scheduled updates) or when you want emails sent (daily digest)
Heads-up: You can't get both email types, you need to choose one

Email frequency | Fixed intervals (15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, or 4 hours) based on the clock time (not from when you first set the frequency). For example, if you choose hourly updates at 11:59, you would get an email at 12:00. | Once per day (at your chosen time, which is based on your timezone setting) |

Selecting actions that trigger notifications
You can choose which types of activity you want to be notified about for both in-app and email notifications. To control this, simply turn notifications on or off for each action.
